Eye of Cthulhu
A dryad, A druid, People may sometimes consider them different, Though they are the same things, Both protectors of nature, Only attacking it when it is destroying the world around it, Otherwise, They will protect it at all costs.

One of the few times a dryad, Or druid, Depending on what you prefer to consider them as, Has hurt nature, was when the raging plant of the jungle, Commonly referred to as "Plantera" was unleashed by a nasty, nasty being who believes that is a smart idea to destroy everything in it's path, Whether it is a gigantic eye, A worm that eats and destroys everything in it's path (Of which i believe was a good decision), or an ancient being who rules the dungeon and uses the poor, Mindless undead as it's servants, Forcing them to destroy everything they see, (Which i also believe was a good decision as well).
