Angler/Traveling merchant

I have been fishing for four days, I would do the quest everyday and kill time to see when the traveling merchant would show up. I haven't gotten a fuzzy carrot, angler outfits, golden fishing rod or any master bait. Is that uncommon ? And the traveling merchant hasn't shown up at all. Is this just bad luck on my side or something more ?

The Traveling Merchant is by chance. There is a bug though with the Angler Rewards.

I was having this same issue (with fishing quest rewards), & came looking for more info. I've checked the bug threads that I found, and while there's lots of issues w/ the angler & his fishing quests, I didn't see any mention the rewards being an issue. Is this a known bug, or should I contribute and report w/ my issues?
