Console Auto Digging. Which is better and what do you prefer.

So as announced just recently. The auto digging will be updated on console to be like the pc version.

How are people with this that game on console?

Do you prefer to dig down 2 blocks wide or 3?

Personally I prefer 3 blocks wide. As you can put single platforms to get back up. And leave 2 hold blocks on the side open to fall straight down to get down quicker.

I think the 2 blocks is fine... But they should make it a toggle option. Like you can toggle for it to automine 2 or 3 blocks down.

I prefer the 3 block dig. It takes a full 3 block width to stop the spread of crimson/corruption. Sure hellevators would go quicker with a 2 block dig, but it would require more effort to have to go back and widen a hole by 1 block everytime to stop encroaching environments.

Well, you could always step on the middle block the way that you're actually stepping on three blocks. That's why pc's autodig is better
