Blood moon question

I'm doing a summoner play through and I need a vampire frog staff. what is the quickest way to get a blood moon without bloody tears or just laying in bed and waiting?

spend your time creating potions you will need them because you need any buffs during your bossfights
Also enchanted sundails can skip night

I already have snapthorn and have survived it easily before with leather whip thanks
