Xbox 360 Building houses for the Painter

Ok created a new world. I wanted houses in all biomes so i could move painter around to buy all of his paintings. Problem was couldn't get desert biome to work not as big as when I got when corrupted biome duhh corrupted the house- how do you build a house in corruption get npcs to move in if its corrupted?

The house itself isn't so much the issue. The blocks around it will determine what biome it is. But yes, certain materials are incorruptible, Wood, Dungeon Bricks, Ash, to name a few.
 
No straw but this piggy used wood an glass I'll try brick because wiki states he must be living in that biome in order to buy that painting same with crimson. Got the corruption background music an dark scenery that worked fine 3 deep with asphalt blocks over it.

No, got biome made, finished house an he couldnt move in house became corrupted lol maybe using Ebonwood in corrupted biome may have spread quicker
[DOUBLEPOST=1426979109][/DOUBLEPOST]Perhaps removing ebonstone will uncorrupt it, then move him, then add in ebonstone. Its a floating base, asphalt straight line, ebonstone under the asphalt.

Yeah, remove the ebonstone then put it back when he moves in :)
 
House became correupted again used red brick. Guess ill need blood moon solar eclipse to get solution i need move them in convert an rinse after use my trap i set up isnt working as well on this world may have scrap it because if i go above any house harpys hit an wyverns are out now plan had great promise, but didnt work out wike said on large world they attack at 800 above or so im at 300 getting harpy and wyverns something not right

Ah yeah those numbers are only for PC worlds, console worlds are a lot smaller.

What's wrong with the house becoming corrupted?
 
Oh crap i forgot bout those lol is it specifc as to which male king moved or put one near him othere where i want him?

Just make a box, put the statue inside and activate it until it spawns the painter :) can't believe I forgot about that statue Xp
