PS4 Can’t join my friend on ps4

Me and my friend buys terraria on sale for 5$ or something like that. My friend makes a world, and invites me. I then accept the invite and it says joining session, then it says connecting, and just out of nowhere it says unable to join, try in a few minutes. When I the try again after a few minutes there is no difference.

Sorry for not so good English, I’m from Denmark so.

no unfortunately not, no one answered, but I think it has something to do with the nat Type.

So, what NAT type do you have?

Actually, what NAT type does your friend have? It seems he's the one that hosts the game.

We both have nat type 3, i Think that is the reason

Yeah, with NAT type 3 it's not possible to host a game. You need NAT type 2 or better for that.

Do you have access to your router? Can you configure it's settings? The easiest way to get NAT type 2 is to enable an option called UPnP in the router. If that option is enabled, your PS4 will be able to configure something called "port forwarding" in the router by itself.
