Hi there,
I can't seem to join my friends server anymore. This happened after the last update i got on steam. We played together about a month ago with no problems. Whenever i try to join i get 'connecting to (playername)' and it never moves past this screen. My friend has the same issue if they try to join me. We are both using terraria vanilla.
-We tried to bypass the problem by not having a password on the server, which worked for half a minute. I joined the server and then immediatly got kicked due to 'lost connection'.
-I also tried viewing the integrity of the game files on steam. This had me download one file, but that didn't fix anything.
-I have windows 10, my friend is using windows 8.
-I'm up to date on .Net Framework 4.7. I tried following some steps of the blogpost below to no avail.

Cannot connect to friends - Hangs on "Found Server" then "Lost connection"
Everytime I try to join a friend through steam the game hangs on "Found Server" and then after a bit it just says lost connection... Every once in a while I get to "Retrieving World Data" and then straight to "Lost Connection" So far i've tried: Re-installing the game Forwarding port 777...
I hope somebody can help with this problem, i never had issues with this before the update and i've been playing Terraria for a couple of years.
