Can't connect to world on terraria

hey guys I'm freaking out I have just gone onto my iPad and tried to go on my main world in terraria but it doesn't work it doesn't work for any character but all other worlds work fine I have run a backup world of it that still doesn't work please help I have worked soo hard on this and I can't afford to lose it is there something I can do like transfer onto a computer or something please I really need answers.
 
It sounds like a corrupt world I'm afraid. There's nothing you can do about it. It really sucks but you probably have to restart.
 
Ok that's fine well I created a new world and got most my stuff back and i placed a new safe and piggy bank and got some of the good stuff. But thanks for the help I appreciate it
