can't play its in gibberish

hi, was wondering if you could help plz? :)

can't play its in gibberish :(

i just started the game and can't find how to set the language , it looks german right now "beenden" einzelspiler" weird things

i pressed the thing called beenden & it crashed the game, then pressed another & it said something about joining steam,

i just want to start a terraria game & explore, since i'm new.
but it would be great if i could access a game :) (in english or french, i dont mind)
 
Hey there, Beenden is the quit button on german settings, to change your language, launch terraria, press "Einstellungen", then "Sprache", then finally press English :)

wonder why they put the game in that weird language upfront ^^
