PC Can't type letters that require Alt Gr

I can't type letters that require Alt Gr for example [, ] or @ I can paste them but not type them ingame
I'm using a keyboard with a Swedish layout
This issue has been present for a few years now but I did not think of reporting it until now
 
on that note, they can actually be typed in when pressing alt gr and the corresponding key exactly at the same time
