Craftable glowsticks?

Is there any hope for a mod that adds craftable glowsticks? I found only 1 but it changes alsow the respawn time and I don't like that feature.
 
I might eventually make a mod that does things like that, but I'm going to need to first find a gimmick that sets it apart from IMKSushi's mod.
 
i could probably do something like that. but i would need to make a item that would be used to craft it with. that isn't a default item
maybe something like this.

1x Torch
1x Plastic Tube
