PC Data Loss??

I have logged onto my terraria account from steam and all my characters and world's are gone an I check all my files and they are gone as well can anyone else here help or any mods from the forum or devs or anyone who has more information can u dm my discord Meow12309#7409

When you play Terraria via Steam, you need to make sure your cloud icon on worlds/Characters has been selected. It will then use Steam Cloud to save your content to their servers. If you do not do this, then your files will only be locally saved.
