Weapons & Equip Different Expert drops for Lunatic Cultist and Moon Lord

Okay, well let me just say this.
Moon Lord.. his drop is SO disappointing. You get this gravity globe that is completely useless at that stage of the game. For example you already have overpowered wings and a fishron mount (or a UFO). I believe that drop should be moved back to its old place, where it belongs.

And not to mention the Cultist doesn't even have a special drop. So this suggestion is here to fix that.

Moon Lord

Core of the Lord
4 Defense
Increases your damage output and defense based on your health
Grants special abilities the more hurt you are

So, let me completely explain 'Core of the Lord'.

So it adds a nice 4 defense, which is on par with the Ankh Shield.
And now, it will increase both your offensive and defensive stats, which would work like this.

3/4 Health - Your defense is boosted by 2 and damage by 5%. Nothing too serious, nothing special.
1/2 Health - Your defense is boosted by 6 and damage by 13%. You will also start shooting homing phantasmal bolts which explode on impact for 120 damage when struck.
1/3 Health - Your defense is boosted by 15 and damage by 22%. You will no longer shoot phantasmal bolts, instead you shoot a mini phantasmal deathray which does 320 damage, sweeps 1/8 of the screen, infinitely pierces, and will only shoot when you are hit. Affect is not activated until the 20 second cooldown is finished. (To stop you from being unstoppable)

Now, let me clarify this. These abilities do NOT stack, otherwise you'd be literally invincible.
Now let's admit, that would be a lot better than a useless gravity globe (not to mention its sprite is terrible), right?


Lunatic Cultist

Beak of the Cult
Allows you to harness the ability of the four celestial superpowers when in need
Greatly increased jump height and velocity

Now the beak is going to be very special. Almost on par with the Core of the Lord?

So by the ability of the celestial superpowers, you get four special abilities, all of which will help you out. Some by healing, buffing, dealing damage, or resisting.

Solar Barricade - You are surrounded by four solar barricades which form a flaming cube. This cube will raise your damage resistance by 20%, meaning if combined with things like tank loadouts, this can be very beneficial. Also has a small chance to deflect projectiles. Activated by double tapping Z. Lasts for 1 minute and 30 seconds, with a 4 minute cooldown. Protection can wither down too, however.

Vortex Cloak - You are cloaked in Vortex energy, which will increase your speed, and also make you transparent. This will make you less likely to be targeted by enemies, some not even noticing you. The only catch is that your mobility is cut by 10%. Also decreases ammo consumption. Activated by double tapping X, will ignore the Vortex and Shroomite abilities. Lasts for an unlimited amount of time.

Nebula Field - You are surrounded by a small nebula circle. Any enemies that strike you will take maximum knockback, and then a small field of nebula blazes will rain down on the screen, 120 damage each. This lasts for 45 seconds, has a 3.5 minute cooldown (3 minutes and 50 seconds). Activated by double tapping C.

Stardust Imbue - You are imbued with the power of stardust. This will increase your mobility by 20%, and allow a stardust dash, which will stack with any other Dash. Any damage dealt will heal 2% of damage done, Maximum health you can be healed is 5. So this means anyone as a ranger or summoner FINALLY have some form of regen. This effect will be cancelled out by Nebula Power-ups or Spectre Healing.. same with Vampire Knives. It will supply you with a buff instead that increases your life regen, slightly more powerful than the palladium's version. Activated by double tapping V. Lasts for an unlimited amount of time.

When one of these abilites are activated, you will receive a debuff called 'Lunatic Overpowering'. It disables you from activating another ability until the ability expires and the cooldown time is met. Or for others, deactivated.


Skeletron Prime

Primed Skull
6 Defense
Low health gives you +10% Damage Resistance
Knockback Immunity
Immunity to any debuff that impairs vision and brightness

So the primed skull gives you a nice 6 defense. Also added damage resistance when you need it.
Now, you will receive immunity to any debuff that impairs your vision or darkens light around you. Yes, that includes what Nebula Floaters inflict. Assuming to be favored by tanky players.


The Twins

Deadeye

Makes targets clearly visible
Greatly increases projectile velocity
Dropped items now give off a faint light
A cursed flame or a laser will target the enemy that struck you

So I'd assume this is favorable to ranged players. Being able to see targets easier, strike them faster, and also has more convenience for things like farming or general battles.


The Destroyer

Mechanical Panel

Summons two mechanical probes to defend you
Allows the ability to do a mech dash
Greatly increases movement abilities

The mechanical probe damage depends on what armor you are wearing. For example, if you wear summoner armor, they deal summon damage. If you wear ranger armor, they count as ranged damage. They have a base damage of 42. Also, the mech dash has slightly more power than the shield of cthulhu dash but slightly less than the tabi. Also gives off red light and a small red trail, similar to the mechanical cart.

Speaking of the cart, why not tweak it a bit.

Mechanical Wheel Piece
Now crafted by 4 Hallowed Bars and 5 Souls of Might

Mechanical Cart Piece
Now crafted by 4 Hallowed Bars and 5 Souls of Sight

Mechanical Battery Piece
Now crafted by 4 Hallowed Bars and 5 Souls of Fright.

All together being 12 Hallowed Bars, and 5 of the three mech souls. That being said, the mech cart can stay in normal mode. However they will drop in the bag with the expert item in the mech boss bags, to still reward you further.

And that is all!
