PC Dungeon on the left side of my world?

I have 2,259 hours in Terraria and this is my first time seeing a dungeon on the left side and the jungle on the right.
Has this always been a thing or was this introduced with 1.4?

Nothing out of the ordinary. I've had plenty to the left.

Dungeons always appeared on the right or left side, always on the same side as snow, always on the opposite side of the jungle, as mentioned in the wiki.

That's some very lucky(unlucky?) RNG, Dungeons have a 50% chance to spawn on either side.

I've literally never had the dungeon be consistent about which side it picks.

Yeah, except mine is more of a 70% on left and 30% right
