PC Exiting a world while Torch God event is occurring leaves torches extinguished

Minor bug: If the player currently participating in the Torch God event leaves the world while the event is occurring, all torches that were extinguished upon leaving will remain extinguished. In the case of multiplayer this occurs even if the world stays loaded with a non-host as the participant if they disconnect mid-event.

Apologies for the lack of video/image, however it is easily reproducible.

Actually, that is a feature.
Leaving the world halfway through the event will cause any torches that have extinguished to stay extinguished when re-entering the world. They will need to be replaced to function as regular torches. (Copied from Terraria Wiki)

Or you could just activate them with a wire and a switch

Just because something is written on the wiki doesn't mean it's an intended feature. Wiki editors can only explain things as they are, not as they should be. We'd need dev confirmation to know whether it was intended.

While true, I think it would make sense for it to do this, otherwise you may accidentally start the event without realizing it. It would also force the event to start from the beginning each time instead of messing around with it.
