PC Facing off against the Destroyer. Is my gear bad?

I'm currently in early hardmode with early-level (and some lucky) gear. Using Mythril melee armor and a Legendary Ice Sickle, with accessories such as Guarding Angel Wings, Menacing Frostspark Boots/Warding Shoe Spikes(because I might need to switch between offense and defense on a dime), Menacing Obsidian Shield, Angry Warrior Emblem, yadda.. As well as a Staunch Titanium Repeater, Mystic Pirate Staff, and a Strong Golden Shower. Should I get some better weapons? Titanium (or god forbid Frost) armor? Accessories? I'll let you decide.

you should definetly get titanium/adamantite armour ill also suggest getting the fetid baghnaks as these have massive speed and good dmg WARNING THIS WILL STILL BE A HARD FIGHT but its possible and this is a great plan to use btw you get the fetid baghnaks from crimson mimics :)
 
you can go for the ultra powerful daedalous stormbow and holy arrows setup of op (not needed but op)
 
Why not try it out?
Where is the fun if you do not learn the hard but fun way :)
I mean I saw people trying to face off Moon Lord with a copper short sword...
Until you try, you'll never know! All I'm saying!
