Hey.
So I spent most of my day trying to get Terraria to work in WINE in Linux, and at last, it couldn't host a game (it would crash).
I then tried in Windows 7, but when I pressed "Play" in Steam, it would start installing XNA, then exit but not launch the game.
I made my way to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Terraria and ran xnafx40_redist, and this is what happens in the installation progress:
I would really appreciate if someone could save the night and help me!

EDIT: SOLVED: I uninstalled .NET 4.0, and downloaded the installers from the internet, installed .NET and XNA, then reinstall Terraria. Yay!
