Is there any way other than uninstalling mods to make it so the souls do not require modded items?

Umm... what do you mean by that? Is there someone you forgot to quote?Faux Calamity.
There's a little "Reply" button on the bottom right of a message. If you click that, it will automatically quote that person in the post box. Anyways, I'd say that's enough off-topic for now.Yes, I don't know how to quote.
Calamity. What particularly are you referring to? Most of the souls, excepting the [class] souls, actually have all of the functions of their components. Ones such as the Gladiator soul may be expensive with how many things you need to make it, but remember you don't need to make it. They're the sort of thing that gives you a greater edge but require quite a bit of time to acquire. Not to mention they're just the beginning. You can eventually make the Soul of the Universe and the Soul of Dimensions, two powerful souls.
Calamity.
The colossus soul requires items that take large amounts of farming.Not... quite what I meant. What I was asking was, what particular part is bothering you? Is it the fact that you need to use hard-to-make weapons in the recipes for the souls? Or is it the fact that you didn't know most of the souls actually give the benefits of their constituents (excluding weapons, ofc). The souls are meant to be very late game, so if you feel that you don't want to sacrifice whatever weapons and such you currently have, then just don't. The souls aren't going anywhere.

Yes, I am in the late game, so much so that I can stand still and beat Supreme calamitas.
Isn't there a catch or whatever? I've never used it so I wouldn't know, just says in the description that the infinite Mana and Ammo has a catchI don't know if anything will change, but the item that gives you infinite mana and ammo, seems like it's a little bit too easy to get (for what it does, infinite mana is op). Maybe you could do they same thing you did with the souls (you used thorium and calamity), but then with the Infinity mod?
http://prntscr.com/g4l2iq Is this suposed to happen?
Fargowilta, the life steal/healing on enemy hits from the soul of terraria (all the enchantments combined) should be nerfed, I'm just about invincible as long as I'm dealing damage to an enemy (almost always during a boss fight.)
