(IMPORTANT NOTE: the problem was fixed, I left the game on for 2 and half hours and calamity and thorium downloaded without crashing my game!

I just got a new computer, which is better than my old one. But because of that I had to reinstall steam, meaning reinstalling terraria, tmodloader, all of the games I have. But also this, all of my mods were not on there anymore. So I was just heading to get back all my mods, when just as I was downloading the calamity mod, I was struck by nostalgia from a month ago ago, It didn't download. Anyway to fix this?
(yes I know this was a problem a few months ago, but the advice at that thread didn't help, I don't have a go button on my finder.)
