When I press play on steam, it says terraria is running, then in a few seconds it stops. I get no errors when this happens. A weird thing that happens as well is, the game will actually launch (for eg. when I restart my laptop) but when I exit and do the exact same thing, it doesn't launch again.
Here are the things I tried:
- I tried running in compatibility mode for Windows 8.
- I tried deleting the contents of the file with the game's numbers.
- I tried repairing the xnafx40_redist.msi
Another thing, when I verify the integrity of the game files, it says that one file failed to validate and will be reacquired but when I play again, it doesn't launch.
