Xbox One Game crash when I talk to NPC during a holiday event

I tried talking to the painter after finishing the final wave if the frost moon, which starts the chrismas event, when I tried to go to shop with him... the game crashes

Me and 2 friends also had this exact same issue and my assumption is because of the ui, during Christmas the painter has a larger shop so I'm guessing the devs overlooked this and didn't add support for it in the console 1.4 update, due to this issue his Christmas items are currently unobtainable. This definitely needs more attention and should be fixed
