Most people at this point probably know that you can get just a little extra range out of the Rod of Discord by switching to the Binoculars, Sniper Rifle, or any gun with a scope equipped, zooming out, and very quickly teleporting before the camera moves back.
As many people also already know, v1.4.0.1 added Golf into Terraria. You hit a ball off a tee and it goes anywhere but the hole. Notably, the camera follows the ball as it flies. Put two and two together, and you can get a long-distance teleport at the cost of the few seconds required to both set up and follow the ball.
My question is whether or not this has any actual use in-game. Sure, it's quite a bit farther than a normal teleport, but is it really worth it?
