Group Name...?

I brainstormed several possibilities with DicemanX, before provisionally settling on "Terraria Engineers Collective". It's a little bit literal, perhaps even dull, but hopefully captures what we're aiming for this to be all about. "Architects of Destruction" might have been a catchier choice, but may also have left people a little confused... We also considered: Engineers Anonymous, Terrarian Trap Techies, Engineerians, Architects of Death's Construction, and half a thesaurus worth of alternative words with similar meanings.

It's not to late to re-name, so please leave any thoughts on this or burning suggestions for alternatives below...

Also, if you have any ideas regarding a more specialised logo or official artwork for the front page, post below...

If you want an Alt name, I'd change the Collective to Corps, similar to military engineer corps. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineer_Corps). There's also Terrarian Corp of Engineers to coincide with another Terraria acronym: Terraria Collector's Edition. (And maybe a subtitle of "AKA The Mechanic's Fanclub" ^_~) Also:
  • Terrarian Mechanical Engineering Division/Department (T-MED)
  • Terrarian Mechanical Engineering Corps (T-MEC)
And probably a few more I could think of *shrug*...

As for a graphic for the group, animated GIF of mechanics in action, spelling/showing the group name, Rube Goldberg style?

On an off-topic side note: I'm guessing I was invited for my Cascading Timers post on the TO forums?

Yup. :) I was flicking back through some of the posts in the Wire Creations section again, and checked a few names to see if they are already over here. Any obvious players who I've overlooked so far?

I quite like "Corps", to give more of a weaponised feel to the name (dead bodies too, we make plenty of those). Maybe we should put it to the vote some time... Anyone else any thoughts on that?
 
Actually, I quite like "T-MEC" in it's entirety, having mulled it a bit. :) So if @DicemanX and the others don't raise any objections, I may change it in a bit...

I won't do animated icons though, however beautifully rendered, I'm way too easily distracted as it is, heh.
