HELP - Slime Statue and Immortality System.

Hi guys, i see so mucn video where people use slime statue for don t take damage from boss...how is possible? In Expert i take 25-60 damage from slime without banner ..and i use stardust armor, now i do all my equip defence +4 ...so.. boss continue to hit me...! Someone can add me on Steam and help me for understand how i can do this? Thanks and sorry for bad bad english..!!

It also depends on what boss you're fighting. The Moon Lord's damage is separate from all other damage types in the game, so his attacks will actually ignore the invincibility frames you get by taking damage from enemies like slimes.
