how do i resprite the eye of cthulu

i have made a resource pack, ive resprited the eye (using silly pngs of cats) and i made a content file in my resource pack but when i join the game and turn on my resource pack the eye is still the same

i need help

Idk But i belive you need to create a reasource pack thorugh tmod then go to the items folder then add the png and then name it to the eye of Chtulu Item ID.

Make a ModNPC and set the aiStyle = NPCID.EyeOfC
