PS4 How do we play co-op in same house

So we have two PS4s in our house, two Terraria games, two TVs, and we want to connect our PS4s so we can get four people playing together on each other's maps with our characters. We don't have internet but we have a LAN router and Ethernet cable... Can't seem to connect them or figure out what's going on.

As far as I'm aware PS4 doesn't support LAN parties. You'd have to have internet and PS+ for your accounts.

EDIT: It appears that PS4 does support LAN parties, but the games themselves have to be set up to allow it. I don't believe Terraria was programmed for this but you could try contacting 505 games support.
