How to resprite weapons

Anyone know how to "replace" stuff, like, i tried to replace the textures of the Celebration mk2 and the SDMG, but, it didnt work

I saw some people changing the vanity sets, like this, other changing the weapons... why i cant change only how it looks?

Okay I'm a mobile player but I think it's not gonna change anything if its just a texture pack that makes it look like a different weapon I'm not to experienced in this stuff because I use the mobile version

Yeah, i saw a video and i did all he said... but, the weapon doenst change

Then that means it probably isn't gonna work unless you have a pro

Look,i tried to resprite this:

Opticor replace the textures of Celebration MK2

Soma Prime replace the textures of SDMG
But, it didnt work
