PC I cant change the keybind for the map on an Xbox controller

All of the other keybinds work normally, but whenever I change the keybind for the map to something other than the triple lines button (idk what it's called) that keybind is set, but the triple lines button is never un-set. For example, I set that button to my inventory button, but even though it isnt binded to the map, it still opens the map.
