Pixel Art I need some advice for pixel art.

I just started on pixel art and I want some advice. Here is a gun I made that is inspired by the mola mola.

Looks decent, perhaps if you want to make it more terraria like or just less hard to look at, maintain one pixel dimension. some of your pixels are 2x the size of others, which makes the sprite feel awkward...

like Ai - T.a.S.A.I. said, you should keep the same pxiel size, but i reccomend 2px because that is what most people use (i think)
also, i don't like black outlines you used yellow for the inside, you could use a very dark yellow for the outline or very dark grey(most terraria sprites have dark grey outlines)
some colors there are less saturated than other or are not matching, you can easily fix it.
i find the sprite a bit too *fat*.
you can do a lot better just practice more
