Ideas for Different Class Playthroughs

Clown class

Spawn with KO Cannon. Hardcore mode.
And try to progress only with this weapon as far as you can.
when you die game over.
 
I have started my own 'Cowboys & Indians' playthrough. You can only use these weapons or variants of these weapons: revolvers, muskets, non-automatic rifles, axes, pickaxes, bows, hammers, dynamite, repeaters (you get the idea, just use weapons that could be from that time period). It's quite interesting.
 
Opposite Playthough. Everyone has those specific weapons and items they always use through different stages of the game. Then there's the weapons and items that you completely ignore. The Opposite Playthrough is where you don't get and use the stuff you normally use. Instead you branch out of your comfort zone and use all the stuff you never normally use.

The thing is....there are a LOT of weapons you're not gonna use in a normal playthrough, there's so many...

Yeah, but a lot of people always try to use swords or flails or specific magic weapons. People acquire way more than they use, but they always lean toward specific ones because they like them better. The goal here is to purposefully pick the ones you don't normally use; the ones that go straight from world generated chest/monster drop, to inventory, to storage chest/trash/sold. Basically, get out of your comfort zone and use things you generally don't use.
 
Here's an idea:

Spaceman class:

Use futuristic weapons: Phaseblade/Phasesaber, Space Gun, Laser Rifle, Heat Ray, any of the Martian drops.

The class could also include guns for a more "Space Marine" feel, or any "spacey" seeming weapon like Starfury/Star Wrath, Meteor Staff, Lunar Flare, Magnet Sphere, or Nebula weapons/Last Prism. For the most part, you'd be a magic/ranged hybrid character.

Guns only Playthrough.
Pretty sure most of you seen HappyDay's Gavin/Gracie the Gunslinger playthrough.
So here's the weapons that you're allowed to use (must collect each and every one of them (except for both of the hazard specific guns, Musket and The Undertaker).

All ranged weapons that consumes bullets and rockets.

Specific mana weapons.

Rainbow Gun.
Bubble Gun.
Leaf Blower.
And others, probably.

Even though the ichor effect is nice, having the Toxikarp ain't bad either..

So you're basically a hybrid of a mage/ranger.

No arrow launching weapons allowed (talking to you, steak, er I mean, stake launcher)
 
Tribal Warrior

Can use only The following.

Any spear
Proper bows
---Proper bows means only bows that resemble bows and shoot arrows or arrowlike projectiles
-----This means no Bee's Knees, Hellwing Bow or Pulse Bow, also no Repeaters or Stake Launcher
Any dart weapon(Blowpipe, Blowgun, Dart Rifle, Dart Pistol)
Any javelin(Javelin, Bone Javelin, Daybreak)
