Is there any item that's more poorly balanced than this thing?

It does 25 damage with average use time, and is only sold after golem is defeated, and in older versions it did 65 damage and dropped from Moon Lord!
 
The Classy Cane, it drops from tax collector and only does 16 damage which is very low for a hardmode weapon.
 
Some weapons could rather be classified as joke weapons, where they're obviously weaker than other weapons at that stage.

Perhaps with the intention to get more out of skill than weapon stats.
 
I’ve never seen anyone use pearlwood armor outside of vanity, if we’re going for underpowered stuff. For overpowered, Onyx Blaster can last until post-Plantera although I’d never want it nerfed

maybe making it so when using explosive/crystal bullets it fires 2 less rounds seems like a fair nerf going from 5-3 per shot when using those ammo you would still get the purple blast of course
