So, it's 9 days until Journey's End release. What you think will happen to Terraria and Re-Logic after Journey's End?

Terraria will see a surge in popularity from the new update, which will likely last a fair while. Once tModLoader updates to 1.4, a new modding renaissance will probably start thanks to not needing to worry about future Terraria updates and being able to focus on cross-compatability and feature updates. Despite the official "end", I see the game surviving with a sizable following for a long time after, since every other time it's "ended" development, it's still retained a dedicated following.
Re-Logic will, of course, after bugfixing Journey's End (though they may return with the occasional patch or fix requested by the community) will begin to focus on new horizons. Will they assist with the development of Terraria 2, assuming Red is still (or even ever was) working on it, will they try to reboot Otherworld under their own team, or will they move on to make new, entirely different games? Nobody can say for sure, but given their success and passion, I can see them making any direction they choose to go work out fantastically!
