How:

First, find a large slime. ( It seems the small ones doesn't get stuck using this method, I have already tried that).

Build a "cage" around it. (3x2)
Any block will serve.

When it tries to jump it will get stuck IN the ground. It will move back or forth until it find a way out.

*If you destroy some blocks under the cage, with 1 line, 3x3 it will go down and again, if you have another 3x2 space, it will keep going back in a loop.*

See the Picture 1, 2 and 3 in sequence.

Here you can see in the Pic 1; The volunteer Alfredo, this friendly slime freely agreed to help me. Alfredo was stuck in the cage, and after jumping it went down to the mini cave I made for the test.

PICTURE 2

After trying to jump again he got stuck in the ground.

PICTURE 3

Alfredo suddenly started doing the moonwalker until it freed itself . It got stuck in a loop. See pic 1, 2 and 3 all again too see the poor Alfredo trying to escape endlessly from the bug/loop.

If they can't find a way out, they will get stuck forever ( or until you get too far or logoff). See pic 4

In this case, the water is blocking the way. It couldn't jump or do any move.
