Me and my dad are playing this for the first time and wanted the regular vanilla experience. We are playing from different locations and we have already tried hosting our own to no avail ( I have no pc right now and apparently the dedicated server software won't work on my dad's mac).
So I was just wondering if anyone has or is willing to make a server where we can learn to play without a bunch of giant purple swords and rainbow lasers and cthulu running around around everywhere you go, which has been the case so far on all the public servers I was able to find
