If you try to make a new Journey character on the collectors edition, they will not get a magic mirror in their starting inventory, and the Carrot is in the slot where the magic mirror would normally be. I’ve used the registry editor to disable the carrot, and if I make a new character with that line disabled (aka the non-collectors edition), the magic mirror will appear just fine.
