Game Mechanics Make the pirate ship a boss

The pirate ship from the pirate invasion is pretty much a boss here is my readoning why it should be considerd a boss

-it has a trophy (tropys only used on bosses most of the time)
-it has one of those health bars that bosses have

- and a couple other things i forgot

Mainly i think it should be considerd a boss since the game presents it as if the pirate ship os a boss

I may be wrong and i is bit when i look on the bestiery (guide to the creatures you fing in your world) the pirate ship isent shown as a boss so it made me confused

Probably because it doesn't really do anything for progression or give any really notable items. Also other event bosses have the health bar too

And its AI is so dumb that even if it was a boss, it would be the easiest boss in the game.

It would be a meaningless distinction. The only thing that would change is having it show up as a boss in the Bestiary. So, sure, why not.
