Switch Mana decreasing glitch

So I'm playing the mage class, and I'm attempting to put on a band of star power. Normally this increases mana by 20 obviously, but for whatever reason it is setting my mana TO 20. The mana icons on the far right still say "220" but it's only showing 1 of the mana stars, and whenever that one gets depleted I am unable to continue using mana, despite supposedly having 220. I have tried the diamond robe, band of starpower, and the arcane reforge and they all have this same effect. This most likely affects every other item and makes mage nearly impossible to play.
If I worded it weirdly and it needs to be shortened, instead of increasing my mana I am somehow setting my mana to the value it should be increasing by.
 
Thanks for the report! To confirm, are you playing an official (purchased) copy of the game?

If so, echoing the above, would it be possible to get a picture / video of what you're experiencing?
