I have a problem with metal detector, can set what to focus on.
Because a life crystal make the metal detector change "Chest detected nearby'" to "Life Crystal detected nearby!" and this make even more harder find any chest.
 
This is just how the Metal Detector works: it has a built-in tier list regarding rare tiles, and Life Crystals simply have a higher priority than Chests.
