Metanoia is a mod focused around adding content from various mythologies, folklore, and legends.
While this is my first mod, I have spent month cultivating an experience that I believe to be of high quality.
I plan to release the mod initially by October.

Please keep in mind that everything showcased here is subject to change.
Some of the sprites will be resprited since they were made when I was quite new to spriting.


VIKING AXE
[Pre Boss | Norse Mythology]

Swings four times in a row, followed by a boomerang-like throw.

SKOFNUNG SWORD
[Post Skeletron | Norse Mythology]

Makes you dash when you swing.
Damage increases with every swing up to 10 times, after which a berserker sword is fired and damage is reset.

SUDARSHANA CHAKRA

Chases nearby enemies. Spins at your cursor if you hold down left click.

CALIBURNUS
[Post Any Mech | Arthurian Legends]

Fireballs linger above you when you swing.
Every 4th swing, the fireballs will shoot towards your cursor.

ASCENDED PALADIN'S HAMMER
[Post Golem | Not From Mythology]

Only serves as a way to bridge the gap to Mjölnir.

MJÖLNIR

Summons lightning on hitting enemies. Right click to use as a regular hammer.

SIGHT OF ORION
[Pre Boss | Greek Mythology]

Converts wooden arrows into special sighted arrows.
Sighted arrows have slight homing and inflict bleeding.

ODINWORTHY GUNGNIR
[Post Any Mech | Norse Mythology]

Chases and hits up to 5 nearby enemies. Right click to use as a spear.
While is spear mode, it also shoots 3 weak projectiles in a cone.

APOLLO SOLSTICE

Shoots 4 arrows spread out in a cone. Shoots a laser every 5 shots.

ARTEMIS FOWL

Shoots bursts of 3 arrows. A special Projectile will be shot once every 5 shots.
If an enemy is hit with the Projectile, they will take double damage for the next 2 seconds.

POSEIDON'S TRIDENT

Shoots random fish. Some fish have special effects.

HADES SHADOWSTRIKE

Summons alternating attacks at your cursor.

RUYI JINGU BANG

BOLT OF OLYMPUS

HARBINGER OF LIGHT
[Post Nyx (the boss added by the mod) | Greek Mythology (is not in the myths)]
Harbinger.png

Shoots bolts of light that chase and home in onto up to 20 enemies.
If no enemies are nearby, the bolts orbit the player.

OTHER
A boss, Nyx [primordial goddess of night in Greek mythology] is also in the works.
However, substantial progress has not yet been made. A couple of drops from the boss are also unfinished.
This is the only part of the initial release not yet done.

A couple of early game structures are also added by the mod, namely, a Greek Temple and a Viking Ship.

si pero poco, a veces uso el traductor y cuando hablo ingles y me sale mal siempre pongo un aviso que hablo mal ingles. Pero ojala mi mod y el tuyo salgan bien, el mío quiero que sea tan bueno como el calimity, iba a ser un mod personal mío porque iba a usar sprites de otras personas pero decidí hacer todo manualmente yo

Está bien. Personalmente, dado que eres un principiante, no debes aspirar a que tu mod sea tan bueno como Calamity. Calamity ha sido desarrollado por varias personas experimentadas a lo largo de muchos años y si su alcance es demasiado grande, le resultará difícil estar motivado. Mejor empezar poco a poco.

ok, i'want make my mod the better i'can made. My mod have now two bosses, three minerals and various tools, if you can, ¿You can speak me how i'made for can the minerals generate natural, i'have the code and is "correct" but not is efective, i'am smal on my years old but i'can made big things on programation (¿Me salio bien mi ingles?)
