METROID WAVEBANK for TERRARIA [v 1.4.1.2]
This wavebank aims to enhance your Terraria experience by replacing the original soundtrack with a carefully-selected mix of OST tracks from Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes. I would have Metroid Prime 3: Corruption in the mix as well, but I don't have the OST for it and couldn't be bothered to dig for it online. These tracks will do wonders to improve the single-player experience thanks to the more isolated and ambient nature of the Prime games, and can also make for a refreshing multiplayer experience as you battle Skeletron Prime with your friends while Meta Ridley's boss theme plays in the background, for example.
If Gamecube-era tracks aren't your thing, I've also taken the liberty of replacing the Otherworld soundtrack with tracks from Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission -- the pinnacle of Gameboy Advance entertainment. There may be a version that replaces some or all of these tracks with selections from Super Metroid in the near future. All boss and event tracks for both the standard and Otherworld soundtracks should be tweaked enough to loop without issue, but I'm not an expert when it comes to editing audio files.

To install the wavebank, download the "Wave Bank.xwb". Find it in wherever your OS puts your downloads, then drag and drop it into the "Content" folder in the Terraria game files. Be sure to backup the original "Wave Bank.xwb" first before replacing it with this one, that way you won't have to reinstall the game whenever you want to return to the original soundtrack.
You may have to adjust your music volume slider to make sure your new music plays at a comfortable level for you. Some tracks are of a more ambient nature and will sound quieter than the rest; this was intended by the original composers and is perfectly normal.
