Game Mechanics More graphical options for current gen consoles(switch included) and pcs.

Stardust Guardian

Official Terrarian
Hey guys, I have an idea that could help Terraria players get more frames if they perfer more, or just don't want as many frame drops.

INTRODUCING: More graphical options for console and pc(mobile players too if they're phone has more than 3 gigs of ram)

Some graphical options could include(For console players/mobile players):
Lower world render distance
Less particle effects
Lighting options(but not color and white, just retro and trippy. When next gen consoles arrive, it can have both color and white plus maybe a frame limiter.)
Options to turn off the background
Basically almost all graphical options pc players have, just a bit more limited on the switch(no lighting options, etc) and for all platforms, no multicore lighting.

For PC Players:
basically everything console gets just more diversity like max cpu usage, max gpu usage, max ram usage, etc.

This could allow more fps, more control of what resources terraria uses, etc. This could help older pcs and allow console players to squeeze out some more fps and have less frame drops.

Obviously some options can only be done on the ps4 pro/xbox one x, but other wise everything else that doesn't make the console lag hard or make it explode is in the graphical options for console.

And before you say that consoles can't handle graphical settings, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order had a preformance and a quality mode, and the quality mode DID chug the console a bit, it did look a lot better. Preformance mode obviously increases preformance. However this was a small graphical setting, so I don't really know if it COULD work on console terraria, but it would be pretty cool.
