Depending on the mechanics I'm not entirely opposed to lifesteal-style weaponry. However, we already have too many fairly useless mounts as it is.

I mean the only classes without lifesteal are just Ranged and Summoner.
Mages get lifesteal because they are squishy and obviously Melee needs some more HP on the side because Melee means going into the fray.
More damaging mounts a nice bit of them already deal damage and they aren't supposed to really be a significant source of DPS even though Scutlix is hehe, but that's it's niche, EVERY mount has a niche, that's what makes them fun and different. It wouldn't be fun if every mount shot lasers, 1 it would completely change the balance of the game and 2 it just wouldn't feel as satisfying to get a Skutlix if I knew I could replace it with...I don't know the next laser shooting mob? Ugh, I dread the idea of "mount damage" being a factor in gameplay.
