Blocks that are crafted with mud at a crafting table. Looks like a light brown/brown brick. can be crafted into stairs and smooth mud bricks, that remove the brick texture.

Initially thought it was in the game, but apparently what I thought was mud brick was Mudstone Brick....

Mudstone Brick

The Mudstone Brick is a type of brick made from Stone Blocks and Mud Blocks. It can also be obtained from Jungle Shrines. It is brown in color with a Stone-like texture.

After trying to build me a Tuscan getaway I would really appreciate a brown brick that is lighter than the mud brick. I'm currently using gray brick and stone slab and painting it brown but it sucks having to wait for the painter to move in and having to pay for all that paint.

I think plain old dirt and stone could make a good brown brick or brown slab.
