Game Mechanics New Game mode!

(ty to witherhitles for pushing this thought into my head with his forum :) )

I present to you a different game mode in Terraria that I just came up with! Simply a new game mode where the Corruption/Crimson rate of spread is DRASTICALLY increased after the WoF is defested, even letting it take over the Hallow with ease. This would have players maybe forced into the sky, making each journey down below a race against time, finding that tiny sliver of jungle left to fight Plantera for example. This could also come with a more useful variant of the sunflower if not make sunflowers much more powerful, perhaps spreading purity right underneath them and perhaps they need to be tended constantly to keep them in health.

I'm interested. Maybe the enemies in the world evils are significantly stronger, too?
I'm thinking some possible new Corruption/Crimson raid events like the Goblin Invasions or Pirate Invasions.

"The line between light and dark becomes blurred!"
"The Corruption is invading!"


Or perhaps even some amped up Hardmode Crimson/Corruption bosses? :D
Hmm probably not, I for one am not fond of overstuffing the game with bosses, that's the job of a mod. :(
