New game update Corrupted my game files.

I am sure that I might not be the only one with this issue, since I have seen a few other people talk about it in the discord. But my newly created 1.4 player and Master mode world are now corrupted after I woke up and launched Terraria. i have spent countless hours on this player and my world to see that they have both been corrupted the next morning.

If I could get any advice that would be great.

Happened to me too, but my character is still there which doesn't even matter since all my loot is in my worlds chests, only my world is corrupted...
