Will terraria be coming to xbox series x and ps5

as far as I'm aware there is no plans to make a dedicated version of terraria for the current generation. but this is ok since most if not all games from the last generation are 100% compatible with current gen

I was hoping that we would get a better 1.4 experience since we would have more RAM and better GPUs/CPUs than last gen.

Please stop posting this, as it is incorrect. The update will be submitted on that date, with the release being a couple of weeks after that, if all goes well.
