There are a lot of NPC's in terraria that are not used that could be a really good thing to the game like a Ninja NPC or a Skeleton NPC
Ninja-He can spawn once you have kiled king slime
1. He can sell Throwing knives for 5 copper each and Shurikens for 5 copper each
2. He can sell shoe spikes and climbing claws for 3 gold each
3. He can sell you the ninja armor from king slime for 1 gold each
4.He can sell you the Katana instead of the traveling merchant selling it to you for 5 gold
5.He will also sell you the Sake, Pad Thai, and Pho instead of the traveling merchant
6.He will also sell you the Gi and gypsy robe after the EoW/BoC
7.He can sell you the Tabi and Black belt for 50 gold each once you have defeated Plantera
8.His weapon could be the Katana or Shurikens
Names: Donnie,Leo,Raph,Mikey,etc

Skeleton Npc-He will spawn after skeletron is killed
No im not talking about the skeleton merchant
1.He will sell you bones for 3 copper each
2.He will have a 25% chance to sell you dungeon items for 10 gold each (weapons from golden chests/enemies)
3.He can sell you the bone sword for 2 gold
4.He will sell the skull vanity item
5.He can sell the skeleton statue during a blood moon
6.He has a 15% chance of selling a water bolt
7.He has a 0.5% chance of selling any post plantera dungeon item for 30 gold after Plantera is defeated
8.Will have a 1% chance sell the bone key for 10 platinum in expert mode
9.Will sell the bewitching table and alchemy table after skeletron is killed for 5 gold
10.Will sell the skeletron hand grappling hook for 10 gold
