Mobile No Keypad on Huawei

Have downloaded Terraria on my phone but when i go to create a character I cannot get the keyboard to come up. Phone is running Andriod 4.1.1

There have been a number of people with the same issue on Android, some people have found that using a add on keyboard has helped. Would be worth contacting @505Games with the details details of your device and OS.

EDIT - I've searched the forum and prior have managed to get a worjing keyboard using SwiftKey
 
HI everyone. My daughter cannot sue the keypad either and dl another keypad hasnt worked. I cant find an update for amazon to update it. Can anyone help please?

Hi leonate, what device do you play Terraria on? You mentioned Amazon - if you play on a Kindle, what type of Kindle is it exactly?
