TCF Suggestion No more 3 character search minimum

So a minute ago I tried to search a thread on here, but it didn't have any words with more than 3 characters, so the search didn't go through. I suggest we change it to a 10 character minimum get rid of the character minimum, or a least an option to search without it.. What do you guys (and girls) think?

There are good reasons for that being the default length - mainly to do with a TON of false hits and then like.

One exception thread doesn't obliterate the rule.

There is also a post character count minimum in place now.

The underlying search module for the forum (MySQL) has a minimum word length of 4 for full text search as a default. Setting it any lower would most likely have a very significant and noticeable negative impact on the performance of the site as a whole. It's simply not feasible on a site of this size and level of activity to be any lower than it is.

Not saying it has to be the default, maybe just an option, it could be especially useful for thread titles.
