Game Mechanics Non-Projectile Ice Blade

1.4.4 was a great update. It made most of the swords that previously just shot projectiles of some kind actually feel like melee. The Ice Blade however seems to have been forgotten.

The Ice Blade should instead summon an icy slash in a small area in front of it, similar to the pumpkin sword/Excalibur, but obviously smaller.

Honestly I'd just settle for the removal of the charge sound

I support anything that makes melee more melee and less "magic but free."
